Microsoft will undoubtedly capitalize on E3 2017 in order to effectively launch Project Scorpio. Considering the fact that E3 is the largest gaming activity of the year, it will provide them with the perfect opportunity to get their foot in the door.
There is a strong possibility that Project Scorpio will be unveiled at E3.
E3 is set for June 13 and hopes are that Project Scorpio will be revealed on this date, with prices set between $400-$500.
This information has been apparently tweeted by programming director Major Nelson. Whether or not this was done intentionally is uncertain. The tweet didn’t make any specific mention of Project Scorpion, but highlighted the 150 days left until E3. People are hoping that this is the case, and that it will be unleashed on the same date.
On the other hand, there is another interesting development. Microsoft Executive Phil Spencer tweeted that Xbox have got something new and exciting up their sleeve for 2017. He specifically stated that: “There will be a nice surprise for Xbox customers in June.” He then stated that what is taking place is not Microsoft’s attempt at paying back Nintendo or Sony.
The bottom line is there is tension in the air concerning Project Scorpio and fans want a definitive answer as to whether or not it is going to be launched on the same date as the E3 gaming event. Details that have been released are so sketchy, it is impossible to get the slightest of hints as to what is taking place.
The only thing left to do is hang tight and wait, it’s only a matter of time before Microsoft will have to let anxious fans know the actual date of its release!
