Hot on the heels of the news that BT has secured the exclusive rights to online gaming service, Onlive, comes the news that it has also sealed a deal for Sky Sports.
The broadcasting giant will be offering Sky Sports 1 and 2 through its BT Vision digital TV service starting later this year.
In a move that will no doubt make many football fans happy, the new channels will be in place in time for the new Premier League season.
Chief Executive of BT Vision, Marc Watson, explained how important the move is for the company: “Offering Sky Sports 1 and 2 is clearly an important milestone for both BT and out customers. To enable delivery of these channels, we have chosen to work with Arqiva for DTT capacity. They have a proven track record and will allow us to ensure a great service for our customers.”
